BJF Navodaya Mission has registered 19693 students till date, out of which 1452 have secured admission in JNVs.

The students who have been trained by BJF and have successfully joined JNV are in regular touch with us for mentoring and motivation. They also stand chance in future as prospective candidates for our two-year comprehensive programmes. In the districts where we have set up centers, more than half of the seats in JNVs have been secured by BJF-trained students.

JNVs are state-run free residential schools, one in every district of India (22 in Punjab). They are located in rural areas and provide free education, including boarding and lodging, worth about Rs 60,000-70,000 per child per year. Each student selected benefits nearly Rs 5 lakh during the seven-year stay at the JNV school from Class 6-12. The annual in-take in grade 6 in JNVs is 80 students per school.
